Haemostaseology (Coagulation)

The cause of bleeding state can be evident already from a high-quality analysis of family anamnesis. Right in the family kinship it is necessary to investigate for the occurrence of bleeding states. The family anamnesis therefore notably reduces necessary laboratory methods to clarify causes of that bleeding. The positive family anamnesis is most frequently at A-type hemophilia and Willebrand disorder.

Laboratory examinations of hemostasis can be divided to:

  • Basic coagulation examinations (for instance before surgery procedure)
  • Coagulation tests at bleeding state with the aim to detect more notable and the most frequent occurring haemostasis disorders in the basic elements
  • Supplementary (specific) examinations according to a changes finding in the individual elements of haemostasis
  • Auxiliary examinations which are not directly connected with an examination of haemostasis elements

Our added value is that experts within the field of haemostasis also comment the measured results, explain and medically validate. By that process a patient is completely examined and not only by a blood collection. They are also ready to provide consulting services for needs of other medical fields.
