The basic analysis of faecal discharge

In case of adults we examine the faecal discharge mainly for blood occurrence in it, as a notion of serious intestinal disease. In the case of children it is examined primarily for an infection disease.

The examination of faecal discharge is executed by a non-invasive method. The complex faecal discharge examination, from a macroscopic examination, a determination of volume, pH structure to an analytical determination of laboratory markers is considered as the basic examination process in a suspicion for the malabsorbtion syndrome. The presence of indigested carbohydrates, fats and proteins is monitored and then a color of faecal discharge is microscopically evaluated.
