The latest technologies and high-quality equipment – USG (Ultrasonography), MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computed Tomography) enable to diagnose a respective disease in time. The examinations are available to a wide range of population and to all age categories. In Uzhgorod and Tachiv we carry out more than 15,000 radiology examinations per year.

We provide the following services:

  • CT – Computed Tomography, during an examination, penetrates gradually by the means of short X-rays pulses through soft tissue of human body and captures the state of tenuous “cuts” of the individual organs according to the level of radiation absorbing. The obtained data are immediately put into the whole by a computer and a doctor, without any surgical procedure, has a possibility to look at internal organs in a real time, asses their condition and evaluate any changes. Computed Tomography enables painless, quick and high-quality examination of brain, heart and vascular system, organs located in an abdominal cavity, in a thoracic cage, kidneys and other internal organs, and muscles as well.
  • USG - Sonograph utilizes a subsonic sound, which cannot be heard by a human ear, within the range from 1 to 20 MHz. It easily penetrates through a body, echoes from organs and devices record those echoes and transform into a visual form. We are familiar with it in many, nowadays already standard, examinations of internal organs functionality, for instance it is utilized for mothers during pregnancy, men in an examination of prostate condition etc. Sonography currently provides a wide spectrum of possibilities to painlessly and quickly look inside of our bodies and observe, how our heart functions, how the organs in an abdomen cavity work (liver, stomach, pancreas, spleen, gall bladder, biliary duct), in what condition kidneys and urinary tract are, organs of pelvis minor, a uterus, ovaries, and also muscles, soft parts of skin, in what condition are blood vessels, eyes, lymph nodes and a thyroid gland. Simply said – USF has become an effective and widely available way for detecting changes and malfunctions of human organs, literally as in a live broadcasting. Neither after multiple examinations was no negative effect of the ultrasound on the quality of examined organs activity discovered.
  • EKG – Electro-cardiograph is a method scanning electric potential in the heart area. Electric impulses are scanned and received by a device which is called electro-cardiograph. Such non-invasive method detects malfunctions of the heartbeat (arrhythmia), a heart attack or other malfunctions.
